Welp, about 35 minutes ago, Latiar's birthday ended. But since I did this all in one day, and usually it takes me more like 3 months to do a single pic, I can't complain.

But yeah, birthday gift for .
Darkrai is apparently like, his favorite Pokemon, unless it changed in the last I dunno, 3 weeks. Regardless, I always liked this Pokemon, and wanted to experiment with adding my own 'flair' as it were, to his standard design. I also worked a few things of Latiar's primary Latios OC into it, sicne this is apparently an alternate form for him. Latias/Latios underpaw-white on his hands and such. Tossed one of his Mega-Ears on the side as well, sort of bound to the fluffy hair stuff. Though it's probably STILL not as big as his ears normally. I mean, good God man, he could probably hear a fly walking on paper.

Also wanted to find a way to work the 'Diamond Spears' his character has that are kind of essential to his story and all into it. But Darkrai doesn't have a lot of large open spaces to put a lengthy rather unflexible crystal on. So I decided to make them stick out kinda like Latias/Latios wings.

Overall, it's a much more... Sinister take on his normally rather cuddly-looking characters. But hey, we all got our own styles.
Mine just happen to be very, very pointy and angry looking.

So yeah.
