Tribute to the victims of 9/11/2001

     So many have fallen.
So many have cried.
So many have callen,
To remove the pain from their lives.

     If we could go back,
I know that we would.
To bring home those,
Who gave above what they could.

     And although we can’t see them,
I know that they care.
Each life that they gave,
To save those who were there.

     The Firefighters together,
Fighting the blaze.
Risking their lives,
To save the day.

     The Policemen who fought,
Helping out those,
Who could not even move.
Let alone save their own.

     And the fellow civilians,
As small as they seemed.
Risked, and gave their lives,
To help those in need.

     Though I’m not much of a poet,
I still feel the pain.
Of those who DID know it,
Of those who remain.

     I pray for them always,
And I hope you do too.
Every last person,
Who’s kin died for you.

I'm sorry if I put it in the wrong category.
This is my first poem EVER.
I'm not much of a poet, so to any REAL poets out there. I'm sorry if I made any major mistakes.

I knew I had to do something as a tribute to the victims of the attacks on September 11th, 2001.

So I wrote a poem about them. And I'm actually quite pleased with the way it turned out!

And I'd like to say to all those who lost a friend or loved one on that fateful day, I give my most heartfelt sorrow for you.
What happened that day was terribly wrong. And I just wish there was something more that I could've done to help you.

I wrote this poem to comfort how I could. And I hope it has worked.
To all those who died saving those who couldn't save themselves that day. I say,
YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!!
I WILL REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS!!!
Of THAT, I can assure you.

Rest in peace...
